Four Colour Vertical In-Line Engine

To provide you with the ultimate in laser printing, we developed the world’s first Four-Colour Vertical In-Line Engine. The four colour toner cartridges are positioned vertically, delivering full-colour printing along the shortest possible route for a faster first print out. Maintenance and running costs are also cut considerably, as when the toner runs out you only need to change the cartridge for that colour.

The toner cartridges are firmly fixed in place, eliminating the problem of colour misregistration that can occur with conventional colour machines. Advanced speed control and loop control technologies ensure that paper is smoothly fed through the printer - with optimal paper positioning for each of the four colours.

We developed thin toner cartridges to make the printer more compact and created a multi-sheet supply tray inside the paper cassette to minimise the height of the cassette. Printer noise is also reduced significantly. As the heat generating fixing unit is located at the top of the printer, heat can escape easily and a smaller, quieter fan can be used.

Complete frontal operation ensures easy operation and maintenance. Our ‘cleaner-less’ transfer belt removes toner residue using static electricity rather than a cleaning blade or brush. This also contributes to saving space.
