Canon supplies Adobe Photoshop Elements, Canon's own Easy-PhotoPrint Pro and Colour Management Tool Pro [1] software for ICC profile creation for both Windows and Mac OSX.

For EOS users, Canon Easy-PhotoPrint Pro functions as a plug-in for Canon Digital Photo Professional software, supplied with each EOS DSLR camera. Easy-PhotoPrint Pro enables the photographer to print 42 bit RAW files directly, without reducing their colour depth to 24bit.  It also simplifies the layout of images and contact sheets quickly and easily on the page, and simplifies the fine tuning of your colour output. For photographers who wish to print RAW files from DSLR cameras other than EOS - or those wishing to edit their images before printing, Canon includes Adobe Photoshop Elements software with the PIXMA Pro Mark II series.  Compatible with Adobe Photoshop CS/CS2/CS3/CS4, Photoshop Elements, and Canon Digital Photo Professional, Canon Easy-PhotoPrint Pro is the workflow link between your image and creative, productive printing.  It also maintains the same interface on Mac and PC, meaning less learning curve if you change platforms.

Canon has a long and illustrious heritage in colour technology, which has lead to the development of the Kyuanos system, used by Microsoft in the new WCS colour system in Windows Vista and Windows 7. Kyuanos is used by the PIXMA Pro Mark II series to give improved colour gamut mapping and Ambient Light Correction, which ensures the very best colour reproduction under different viewing conditions.
