Direct-to-DVD
Whenever you record home movies with the DC210 you’ll be capturing direct to a DVD in the camcorder. While images are captured via the precision-engineered 35x optical zoom lens, an Electronic Image Stabilizer (EIS) reduces camera shake and ensures steadier footage. It won’t matter what event you are recording, you’ll be sure of a grandstand view.
True widescreen
Shoot panoramic high resolution true widescreen movies and replay them on a wide TV set. Monitor what you’re recording using the 2.7" 16:9 LCD or 0.27" widescreen colour EVF (Electronic Viewfinder).
DIGIC DV II
Passed down from Canon’s High Definition (HD) camcorder range, DIGIC DV II is a super-fast image processor that features advanced noise reduction technology for high quality images. Record vivid true-to-life colours just as you remember them.
108 minutes on a disc
The DC210 is compatible with up-to-the-minute DVD technology, benefiting from the greater recording capacity of DVD-R DL (Dual Layer) media. You can now store up to 108 minutes of digital video on a single disc.
