Canon 45x Advanced Zoom
Get closer to the action than ever before. Canon’s Advanced Zoom offers a reach of 45x magnification when recording widescreen movies, thanks to the combination of a high quality Canon Video Lens and the power of DIGIC DV II processing.

Direct-to-DVD recording
Capture footage directly to an 8cm DVD via a high quality Megapixel CCD. Finalise your DVD (-R/-RW/-R DL) in-camera for immediate playback in a home DVD player.

Quick Start
Never miss the moment with Quick Start. One push of the dedicated Quick Start button is all it takes to power up the DC320 almost instantly from Standby mode.

Intuitive control
An intuitive, easy-to-use Joystick on the frame of the LCD screen enables quick access to all key shooting and playback controls.

Record for longer
Compatibility with DVD-R DL media offers much longer recording times – store up to 108 minutes on an 8cm Dual Layer DVD. An optional high capacity battery extends shooting time further.

True Widescreen recording
Using the True Wide High Resolution 16:9 recording system, capture movies that are perfect for playback on widescreen TV sets. The True Wide system incorporates a 2.7” 16:9 LCD screen and a 0.35” 16:9 EVF (Electronic Viewfinder) – whichever way you choose to capture your movies, you’ll always be able to see what you’re recording in the correct dimensions.

DIGIC DV II for photos and videos
First developed for Canon’s High Definition camcorder range, DIGIC DV II is an advanced image processor that offers faster response times and features advanced noise reduction technology. With split path processing, DIGIC DV II processes the video and still images separately, optimising the colours of each.

LCD video light
The DC320’s LCD screen doubles as a handy video light when turned to face forwards. It provides an additional light source, allowing shooting to continue even in dark conditions.

Advanced photo capture
Capture still photographs directly to SD or SDHC (High Capacity) memory cards, which are easy to share with family and friends. Beautiful still images can be printed directly on printers with a compatible memory card slot.
